Design & Information Manager

Day-to-Day

My main job was focused on the fundamental task of informing users of any aspect related to changes and modifications to the service.

Delivering this key information to a target audience as diverse as EMTValencia’s is one of the company’s most important values, while avoiding any type of bias.

Therefore, the main mission is for the user to be able to understand and use public transport autonomously so that their final experience is satisfactory.

To communicate information correctly, visual design principles such as information architecture are used, which organizes the content and helps users know where the information they want to know is. Typographic hierarchy is also applied by ordering the typefaces and corporate fonts in the design in order to create divisions that show users where to focus and how to find the most relevant information.

Thus, by changing the size and thickness of the font, the elements are ordered on the page and classified by level of importance so that the structure and information are clearly understood.

On the other hand, greater coherence is given to the design with the use of corporate color, negative space, and icons and symbols that help identify elements and places.

Examples of work carried out over the years:

Creation of the image for the new line 25

Among the most special jobs I have done, the one that has made me feel most proud and which I developed with great enthusiasm, was when I was entrusted with the design of the image for the launch of the new line 25 and the creation of its entire campaign (image for the public presentation, posters, brochures and adaptation for the exterior vinyl on the buses).

The creation of line 25 was a project of great impact motivated by the main need to improve the urban service for residents of the Albufera area, thus giving them greater mobility, since until now the closest they could get to with EMTValencia was Pinedo.

At the same time, this line brings the Albufera Natural Park closer to users of the city of Valencia and to tourists, since the Albufera is a protected natural area of great interest located approximately 10 km south of the city.

This benefits user mobility and minimizes pollution caused by traffic to the park.
